- Participants must be able to read and write English
- Participants must qualify for the Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment

Nationally accredited Safe Load Program (SLP) Course
Get trained in the Safe Load Program (SLP) with Western Trainers at our Lockyer Valley facility. This course prepares drivers, terminal operators, and trainers to safely enter fuel terminals or depots and load bulk fuel tankers, including Shell, BP, Mobil, or Puma terminals.
You’ll gain knowledge and skills across five key modules: Health & Safety, Product Properties, Vehicle Loading, Tanker & Gantry Knowledge, and Training Assessment. During the classroom course, you’ll learn to manage ignition risks, apply OH&S guidelines, perform loading procedures correctly, and understand petroleum product characteristics. A terminal assessment follows the training.
Successful completion earns you an SLP Identification Card, valid for two years.
